These standards describe how Token & Tell researches, writes, edits and publishes its work. They apply to everything on this site.
Accuracy
We aim to be accurate above all else. Factual claims are checked against primary sources where possible: official documents, company announcements, published research and reputable reporting. We link to those sources so readers can check them. Articles reviewed since September 2026 end with a Sources list, and we are adding source links to older articles as we review them. When a subject is evolving, such as regulation or ongoing legal cases, we describe the situation as of publication and avoid presenting uncertain outcomes as settled.
Usefulness over volume
We publish articles because we believe they help readers, not to fill a schedule or chase search traffic. Every piece should answer a real question clearly and leave readers better equipped to make their own decisions.
Independence
Our coverage is not for sale. Companies cannot pay for reviews, comparisons or placement. If we ever publish sponsored content or use affiliate links, they will be clearly labeled. We will disclose any relationship that a reasonable reader would consider relevant.
Use of AI in our work
As a publication about AI, we use AI tools ourselves, for example to help with research, summarizing source material, structuring drafts and checking writing for clarity. AI tools do not decide what we publish. Content is reviewed by our editorial team for accuracy, sourcing and usefulness before publication, and the team takes responsibility for everything that appears under the Token & Tell name.
Images
We use licensed or public-domain photography, credited where required. Photos illustrate topics; they are not presented as documentation of specific events unless stated. We do not publish AI-generated images of real people or realistic images presented as real events.
Opinion
Opinion columns are clearly labeled and reflect the view of the writer. They are held to the same standards of factual accuracy as the rest of our coverage.

Our articles are general information. Where topics touch on health, law or money, we recommend consulting a qualified professional for decisions about your own situation.
